Leslie M. Levy is an author, public speaker, and mental health advocate. She earned her Bachelor's degree in English at California State University, Northridge. She later graduated with a Master's in Social Work degree from California State University, Long Beach. Leslie became a certified instructor through a program at the Therapeutic Writing Institute and taught creative journaling techniques. She also speaks to diverse audiences as a NAMI In Our Own Voice presenter and shares her own mental health recovery story with others. When not writing, she enjoys playing table tennis, hiking, and spending time with her daughter and pet Schnoodle Milo. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband.
